Losing belly fat can be a frustrating experience. If you have tried losing weight, only to see failure, you are not alone. Hundreds of thousands of overweight Americans set resolutions each year to lose weight only to meet with minimal, or even negative, results.
Well, you can now end the struggle. Losing weight doesn’t need to be a chore, you should be able to have fun and do the things you enjoy while you see the pounds shed. One good and effective way to lose weight is to set a number of different goals. Start with a larger long term goal that is fun and worthwhile to you and work your way backward until you have all of the steps leading up to that big goal mapped out.
Many people want to prove to themselves that they can accomplish an athletic feat such as a marathon. The marathon is a 26.2 mile foot race and involves a high level of fitness and endurance to complete. If you had finishing a marathon as a long term goal, you would want to set smaller goals to help you get to the end of the finish line. This might mean starting by going out and running one mile four times a week. As you improve and lose more weight, you can make your daily goals a bit harder. After you lose the first ten pounds, maybe you would want to increase to two miles a day. This can go on and on until your long term goal suddenly seems very attainable.
